Google Software Guidelines

Google has just announced a set of software principles as a proposal to help fight spyware.

Do you think that it is weird for a search engine company to have launched such a set of principles? It is, but Google is about to enter the software business as it is about to launch a Desktop utility that will work with the Google engine and will allow you to search the hard disk of your PC.

This is a kind of reply to Microsoft trying to feel the search engine waters with their new MSN engine and it definitely means that there is an open conflict between the two companies.

Still I am definitely going to be using the Google tool for searching my files as the Microsoft search is absolutely terrible...
